With an average of 2 or 3 account /people its like 300 to 400 diff players.

I think the average characters per IP is 1.8. So that is almost 500 unique players. Which is incredible and Id wager the #1 in true population.

Welcome to UO in 2017. Its not 1997 where we are all kids with all the time in the world.

You'll need to go play the games the kids play if you want 24/7 activity. I'd wager 99% of our population are adults with kids, jobs, and real life responsibilities. To me, this server is crazy active for the time I have available to play, and its awesome.

Grow up(and I pray you are not an adult yet). You're in for a depressing life with this attitude you're showing.

I still don't get this fetish for numbers that some people have...at the end its all very simple, if you enjoy playing, whatever the figures are, keep doing it. If not, feel free to go playing elsewhere, I promise you we won't stop you...

My travel gnome in Ocllo cast 73 unique customer gates out of 112 total successful casts this past Saturday. I had been averaging low 40's up to that point.

My travel gnome in Papua cast 21 unique customer gates out of 21 (weird) total successful casts this past Saturday. I had been averaging a whopping 6 (sigh) up to that point.

You see whether you realize it or not I'd say in the past year or so I've actually made it my business to know exactly how many active players are on and where they're at at any given time of day or night. My goal is and always has been to inspire more activity in the unguarded territories of our server and increase its overall population. Sure the travel gnomes play a part in that but it's small in comparison to things that I do in the not so public eye.

Our population has increased significantly. Player activity in unguarded zones along with it is at an all time high.

Is it at an unnatural 500? Nope. Does that matter? Nope.

Okay I've made you mad enough, I truly do like this shard with all the custom content (amibs, tmaps) but I love messing with people on the forums more. Pvp is great when I find it and as the years go on the less people play so I can't compare it to my past experience with 3000 players because that was 5 years ago not now. Have a great day!

I absolutely love these Blanket statements like "I check all the dungeons and didnt see anyone" "Towns? Nope no one there" "Houses? No one there". It's honest to god laughable. We PK all the time, and manage to find people all over. Either you don't know where to look, or you are basing your statements on a very...very small sample size. " No one on the high seas " this is where you really just break my ability to not rip your ass. In what fucking world do you live in that you think you can see the entire water mass of the game? You could have 30 people sailing around and never encounter each other.

How could you possibly be so dense to think that you could know by sailing around that no one is out there......It leads me to believe that you are not simply asking a sincere question but in fact being purposefully misleading. I would take the time to educate you on the different areas you could find players here, but I don't think you really care about that.

I also love playing this game since 1997, BUT i also like playing it with or against those ppl wich are online here and this is not really the case at my playtimes right now...then i see "online players: 600+" and JUST WANNA KNOW where are they all...THATS IT, nothing more, nothing less. And just because of THAT simple, not offending question, i get flamed or replies in a manner that makes me think that the servers population is 90% afk all the time collecting plat or i have to deal with little wussies like ^.....
