Btw can anyone tell me why I have never successfully be able to give someone a macro over IRC?

Likely a problem of either formatting, or clients. If you're trying to just send the formatted text as a msg to someone, theres a good chance they're copying out the entire line -- which would include your nickname... essentially turning this:

Assistant.Macros.HotKeyAction|0|Restock Agent-5

into this:

<KewlUODude> Assistant.Macros.HotKeyAction|0|Restock Agent-5

...which is obviously going to cause a parsing error.

If you're trying to send the file via DCC (direct client-to-client connection) on IRC, there is a very good possibility that the other person's client simply does not support DCC transfers. I'm not sure if you can do DCC file transfer using the flash-based client that we have a link to on the website, but I know anyone using Pidgin or Adium for IRC will not be able to even acknowledge a DCC file transfer.

Subsequently, I usually will post the macro on my personal web server when I'm looking to share one, for this reason.

Yea ... must be a formatting thing cuz I'm at a 100% fail rate for sending code over IRC
