It seems the elves have the same AI issues that cause them to attack and sometimes be killed by other monsters. Be sure to check corpses, I found a green scroll today. Happy Hunting.
How many have you all seen this year over the open lands? I've been all over the place and I haven't seen any. The only ones I'm finding are in dungeons. It's great fun to see folks in dungeons, but I also love roving across the lands in search of the enemy. Just curious what everyone else has seen.
I haven't done a ton of running, but a couple hours worth I've not found any, anywhere but dungeons. Spawn is nothing like Thanksgiving
There was a bunch on dagger isle last night. Made the mistake of taking on a dark elf solo with no macros set up....not clever
Telamon announced last night on IRC that overland spawn would be doubled due to increased player base. Have had no problems finding elves since then. Also tracking goes a long way. Another PSA: don't forget to cut the polar bear corpses; got a green pelt yesterday. Happy hunting!
