Each character can own only one home. So if you want to buy or place a second, you have to use a different character.
I would have to start a second account though correct ? When I made a new character under same account info it said I already owned a house and couldn’t place another.
Nope. It is not 1 house per account like you may be familiar with. Each and every character can own their own house. Keep in mind that co-owners cannot own or place their own house until they are removed from a co-owners list.
Do I have to ban the character in order to be able to purchase another? I’ve been trying to buy with my second character on the same log in but it’s denying me saying I already own
I’ve placed houses with co-owners for sure... and not same account co-owners. Ideally you could co-own someone to your house and control that char ever placing a house until you decide to remove them as a co-owner
Thanks for 50% correcting me. @One reminded me how my crafter owns my current house and is also a co-owner of the vendor shop. I had forgotten about the existing co-owner can own other houses.
Maybe a bit unlikely, but you mention custom house and seem sure of the issue you're having - Are you sure you're on the right forum for the server you're playing? Sorry, but it seems at least possible so worth a mention.
