I think you should know that your body would be where you were standing/running when you died. I'm not
sure the actual time of body decay, but if you were afk, there is not telling when you died. May have been
a 30 seconds after you left. I don't even think calling the guards will help in some instances.

Man you can't assume you won't die in town/in your house when your afk, except in Occlo.

To be successful and enjoy UO you have to be strong and not let small things/loses control your emotions, even if you
had a million gold item on your back. Gotta play smart!

Answer is in the title. “After 30 mins”. Bodies decay in much less than 30 mins.

I also swear I have spent more than 8minutes hunting for a wandering healer and made it back in time. Or do you mean 7min to bones and 7min to decayed? That was mentioned by Chris in some ancient patch notes. Maybe I spent just under that? Or maybe it just seemed like forever
