Gladiator Tournament

With a recent growth in dexxer play [or the desire to do so at least], I am curious as to who would be interested in a pure dexxer gladiator tournament?

I was thinking something along the lines of:
No Potions [also means no poisoned weapons]
No Magic [no heals, cures, poisons, trapped pouches, etc.]
No Wands
20 Aids
GM weapons and Armor [Iron and Plain leather only]
On Foot
Double Elimination
All to take place in an arena setting
With an FFA last man standing brawl at the end in a spot TBD. Combatants will be gated in to a guard free area, after restocking their 20 bandages, and dive directly into the fray with those brave enough to venture into the unknown!

These are just tentative rules and thoughts. If anyone would be interested, please share your thoughts on how you would like to see this go. Entry and prizes TBD once we figure out how many participants are involved.

Depends on when the event starts but I'm always up for something like this!

If we can get people to look at it, and share with their friends, anyone interested can post their available times and we can go from there. Purely casual PvP to maybe draw a little more interest from some players that may be somewhat apprehensive when it comes to PvP. This way it still has some skill involved in timing bandages, but also relies heavily on the RNG gods!

Would be awesome if we could get the GMs involved that way a "trophy" could be put in and they could handle the FFA location....

The turnout wasn't the greatest but all in all was a good fun event. When you're ready you should post your event in the player run events section and contact @Treasureman he has always been very helpful for assisting me with my events. If there's anything I can do to help or and questions you might have feel free to ask me. Good luck with your event I'll be looking forward to the fight!

Awesome! I will definitely hit you up when I get closer to setting it in stone! I love doing event-type stuff, and would love to see more of it on here. I play enough on the weekends to where I could possibly have something going on regularly if we could get people to support/be interested in the events. I also like the Hide n Seek and dungeon crawling stuff, but I have just got back into playing after a long time off. I have 2 weeks left in this school year and I will be off until September. That should open up a good bit of time for stuff like this!

I’ll join! My participation will depend on the timing because I travel a lot for work.

I play mostly weekends. Im on EST time, but can play late or really early on those days. If possible, those that are interested should post a time frame that would fit their schedule best. We can start laying this thing out then.
