Only owned one very briefly before now. There's so much space! And so few lock downs to make use of all that space. Work areas with a small break zone/space to entertain visitors - Living Area - And the sleeping/grooming rooms - I've had to limit the clutter (no really I have) due to lockdown shortage, and for the same reason the roof is currently bare, but it's a work in progress so I'll add more crap items as and when.
That is some fine decorating I see you keep a key on either side of your doors. I believe there is a way to raise them up off the floor and into the doorway to use only one key to both enter/exit. That would free up I think 3-4 lock down slots from the tower doors for other goodies.
all looks good excluding roof, what's the deal?! I there's anything weird going on up there... we wanna know favorite part is the main floor room with the bolts/yarn
This is why I have abhored large houses in UO. It can quickly turn into a money pit. Anyway... I would suppose if the site was to be open to the public, towers certainly do have lockdown challenges. If not, unlock all lowest level items/table top and use locking for the elevated items. The roof? A garden of course. Flowers and... potatoes! Gardening implements (pitchfork, tool kit, manure, etc) Looks great (as always), Jill.
I find it interesting you went from the bottom up. When I take on a tower, I usually start from the roof and go down, since the roof is the first thing people walking by will see.
You don't need a key to exit, only to enter. I think, altho this sounds odd, that the keys are on both sides of the door to relock the door after you enter, altho that's not necessary. You simply lock the door after you open it but before you enter. You can lock a key down on the same tile as the door but LOS gets a bit weird when you do that. Sometimes your char can see and use the key and sometimes it can't.
