You will fizzle a 4th circle spell (recall and greater heal) often with 20 mage and scrolls. Also balance what advantage high hiding really gives you. Hiding skill bonus is based off of dex, and I believe you get some mysterious bonus for trying to hide against a wall. I can with a little patience hide within a few moments on my dexxer with 0 base hiding skill. With 80 hiding and 20 magery you are gonna fizzle recall way more than you will fail to hide
The real issue here is stack-able potions (cure primarily) only counting as 1 item total instead of individually like they're supposed to - Poison(ing) becomes largely irrelevant when everyone can just run around with their body weight in potions & not have to worry about the item limit when stocking for a fight..
And how many people you see stacking potions in excess of 10 or even 20? Poison dexxers is an awesome build and definitely one that I am overdue to build. Thanks to @Arawn for his insight
Was fun watching Witchcraft when he played and ran around on his poison dexxer. Had fun, killed plenty, and didn't complain about the validity of the class.
only think I would change would be magery at 60 and hiding to 40. no fail at recall, ability to cast magic reflect, not fizzle greater heal and plus you have around a 85-90% chance to hide when touching a house with 0 hiding.
Wouldn't magery at 60 give you an inferior magic reflect? I forget the exact math of circles of protection per skill level, but I believe 60 magery wouldn't even reflect an initial explosion, and possibly not even a mindblast. Does anyone know the exact number of circles 60 magery will reflect? Besides that one point, 40 hiding would be a nice addition to have, and for everything else 60 magery is plenty if not using eval int and offensive magic. You could even use scrolls if you needed to cast gate etc.
100 Mage 100 Med 100 Eval 100 Swords 80 wrestle 80 Resist 100 Anat 40 poison 100 str 80 int 45 dex Lesser poison - 18 charges per application. The point is disruption and breaking gheal holds. Stay above 100 str and carry a tactics modifier weapon, and you don’t have to worry about not having tactics Stay buffed with dex pot and you will swing plenty fast with a katana 100 anat with 80 wrestle is a 45% to land stun instead of the 50% you would have if both were gm. 100 eval and 100 anat gives you 50% defensive wrestle anyways. Load explosion, hit with poison kat, drop spell, stun, finish spells. If you want a more dexxer build: 100 swords 80 tactics 100 anat 100 healing 100 Magery 80 resist 100 inscribe 40 poison 100 str 70 dex 55 int Stay buffed, carry a good weapon, use RA or Reflect depending on what you’re up against. The scribe bonus is solid when you’re slapping someone in the face with an endless supply of poison. I’ve played with both builds and they’re fucking lethal if you use them right. However, these are more geared toward solo fights, 1v1s. In groups they aren’t as good. I shouldn’t have to explain why.
A Nox Fencer using Deadly Poison and a Kryss won the whole 1v1 tournament in the event center last night with anything goes rules. Certainly can say it's viable!
low lvl poisoni Thats the Crooks build! (except the poisoning) You could tune it by lowering poisons to 10, thats what i currently do on Erza to apply shop poisons.. the successchance is still high enaugh, since it takes a while to wear down 18 charges + there isnt a broad variety of skills you could use the cooldown for otherwise (medidation pretty much), so you can spam your poison macro. works pretty fine for me tbh. GM Resist will have value over time, compared to 80 Resist and will perhaps save you more than once. this build would be also the closest what you could get to instahit on ren, if you land the combo as mandrevu explained, and it would be the first choice should i ever decide to switch to a different build on Erza.
Depends on the Format pretty much. In a boxed setting, and on Foot a Dexer is A LOT more viable than in a fieldfight. I dont say that dexers arent viable on the field, but the setting they realy shine are CTF Matches and Boxes. First off, its easier for them to land blows, and 2nd its a lot easier to throw explosion potions compared to field fights. I wouldnt still give a well played Healmage the upperhand in a 1v1 tournament setting, but a Dexer is something absolute deadly... if done right!
