I know a few people were wondering where my recent HC buying extravaganza cash came from and it was kinda fun to be a mystery for a day but feels a bit douchey now so: I've been playing basically completely solo here for about 2 months. When I was gating a new fishing alt from town to my SST a random character popped through my gate. I figured 'we are going to fight now or something?' but he said, 'Are you new? Want some stuff?' About 2 minutes following this he had gated me to his keep and was gone leaving me his account info. So I did nothing but apparently looked newbish enough to warrant this dude's UOR death lottery. Anyway. This was in the keep, so I'm curious to see how any rare collectors would value it. Cool story. My opinion is it's worth 100k or less because there are so many re-hued items they all have lost value.
Nice tale, good for you. I'd prefer vets who share their stuff with people who have been playing long time on the shard showing dedication and all But that's just my opinion. Often too much wealth without effort destroys the fun for newer players. They start to focus on pixels instead of enjoying the process of becoming established. It has happened before at least. But nevertheless, gratz on your unexpected fortune! About the rune: Some mils. My guess. The economy is very hard to predict properly.
@BlackEye You’re not wrong - I think shame was part of me not wanting to explain too...but not enough shame to not keep it.
According to the UOR page, only two are active at the moment (http://www.uorenaissance.com/itemdetails/RecallRune/1F17/1), though this may not include runes placed in runebooks as mentioned by Mes. Compare that to the trammel runes which a year ago sold for 350K (http://uorforum.com/threads/mega-sa...mask-dye-furs-trammel-rune.30711/#post-300384), and only 14 active trammel runes exist. Assuming that the Malas runes are 4-5 times rarer, you could realistically expect the auction to shoot up to a mill depending on interest, potentially more depending on rarity/interest. Also, if anyone is looking to complete a set, I've got a (working) trammel rune for only 400k! /shameless plug

My guess would be 300-700k ish. Completely off topic, I was reading this and kind of assuming who the items came from based off my own conspiracy theory and weird logic, and then punt posted to give me some confirmation. Do you happen to have a hued book (like the store bought ones) hues a black color named "The Bible" in there some where? That is something I desire...
