i noticed after a thief steals they can simply go through the green gate where they can not be attacked even if perma grey. can that be fixed asap please
I think green gates should ONLY be up during the time of events. Always bugs me when I see them linger around for a week or so after an event. As for "fixing" this. I don't see a way to fix It other than limiting the time its up, since it is an event center for all, even reds. Maybe code it somehow timed to the same time the item is stolen it cant be traded. Once an item is stolen you cant access a the green gate. BUT a lot of dungeon thieves use gate to get out after a successful theft since you cant recall. So I don't see this changing really.
I'd settle for they would have to no longer be perma, or have died before they could go through the gate if that could be done. its kind of a cheesy tactical advantage if u ask me
event gates in my opinion of course should be opened durring an event like CTF etc or for longer events such as valentines leprechauns etc need to hold some kind of rule set like discussed. if you are perma go kill yourself if needed to get in the gate, simple
After stealing something the thief has to wait 2 minutes to use the event gate. After 2 minutes the thief can also bank or recall. The event gate doesnt help a thief escape. Perma grays can use the gate. If you are seeing large amounts of players who have stolen from you and not died in the event area, it's not the fault of the green moongate.
like i said i seen the same COUPLE did i say large amounts? dont be melodramatic about the situation. the fact is there are grey people that are using the gates and i said before that if you would read it correctly they havent died yet after they have stolen from me, or probably anyone else. And it isnt just theves either.. did you not read other people have admitted to using it to? I guess not you just type. It's not a argument or who knows more about what its something that has to be fixed, put away your pea shooter there skippy.
I'm not sure if this helps, but you could be seeing people who come the instance and are grey. For example; if a bladespirits causes someone to flag grey and then the instance ends they will be grey in the event center.
You said you see greys in there a lot. A lot seems like more than a couple. I did read the posts. The other people that said they do this was one person. Now it's not just thieves? What other types of criminals are using the gates? How do you know they are not thieves? Flagged criminals cannot use the event gate. Crimes cannot be committed in the event area. So what needs to be fixed? Mabye we can get some screen shots of all these greys swarming the event area. I'm not trying to have an arguement. I'm just pointing out that you want something fixed that isn't broken.
it is as i explained, you saw other people say they exploited it as well its not a huge deal, you just want to argue about something u apparently know little about and i refuse to do that. how about going in and waiting and watching yourself? why would i take my time out to take a screenshot for your sake? get real jack! This isnt about you its about who has access to it and why and if it needs to be fixed or not. Have you not read other peoples posts or have you just read mine and just finding reasons to be a troll? How many times have you actually been in that event gate? How much time have you spent in that gate? You are thinking and typing blind so until you actually know what you have seen or witnessed how about keeping your apparent assumptions to a minimum..
that could be the reason why i saw the tamer grey in there yesterday, but as for the 2 thieves that i haven't caught yet, Or i should say they have not died yet were still grey to me, and after i flagged one in Ocllo they ran into the gate, which was grey to me probably not someone else unless they flagged them as well
