Pirate Tamer Voyage - Summer Ocean Event!!!

Thats right, Pirate tamers are out at sea all summer! Fishermen beware, these pirates take no prisoners. If you don't have what it takes to tangle with their tames, SAIL AWAY. For those who do fight, treasure awaits the victor in the enemies cargo hatch.

Similar to the Cerberus event, Tamer Pirate ships will be found randomly across the oceans. I will announce the launch of new ships in IRC. Your only hint to their locations is that it will NOT be near towns & NOT in t2a (lost lands). I apologize in advance for the many AFK fishers who will fall victim to these dreaded pirates.

We set out to simply fish up some Messages in a Bottle. A casual voyage on a Friday evening. Then, our tracking sense heard chanting and a roar of dragons in the distance! This is the tale of our encounter!

Update, now that your all aware of the awesome custom loot, it will become a little more difficult to find. About 1/4 pirate ships will have a unique themed Pirate Tamer Voyage item! The others will still have great loot including Hcoins, Gold, rares, Tmaps, fishing nets, and more!​

- PIRATE TREASURE - ​

Yesterday, a scout was sent to search for the reported tamer pirates. I have to see for myself if the tales are true...
The next fishing tournament is briskly approaching and I must be prepared for any troubles.







Today during the preparation of chicken on a spit, I heard back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I immediately embarked to the ship... the chicken wasn't even on the fire yet.

I observed the ship from afar, then called upon two trusted companions to dispatch of the stench and their new ways.







They were successful in slaying the crew and found an item of interest. However they failed to check the corpses for more information of this current uprising underway.
I thought... "That's right, the good scout interrupted me... I didn't relay that they should inspect every crevice"







My companions returned with what appears to be a net the pirates use to soil the seas and steal our bounty!
They must be put down!











I of course was thankful to my dear friends and prepared them a feast.

Do they randomly spawn? or is it a controlled thing that I have to be in irc to have any chance of finding?
Are they normal dragon/pirate strength? Bardable? Trackable?

I can't wait to find one/ a lot.
