New addition to family a lot of time at a personal job to support. limited *trustworthy staff* of something i know all to well you need to take into consideration but i can understand frustration coming from it. 2 even 4 people running something like this even if trustworthy can make it difficult for a timeline, i doubt anyone that has access are independently wealthy to the point of a 100% guarantee on anything because they have nothing better to do either.. For some reason i just can't get in right now but i refuse to complain because my up time by far outweighs my down by a long shot.

I don't get why a screenshot of the leaderboard wasn't taken 5 days ago, or whenever the event was due to end, so that Jeebs won? If that's when the event was intended to end, then this would have been away to avoid this conundrum.

Obviously we understand how busy Chris is, but without detracting from Ragnar's achievement, this would have been a good way to avoid an equivocal mess like this and we all know that Jeebs was leading the whole time really.

I seen what a wolf in sheeps clothing can do to a UO shard or any MMO especially a free one and one person can destroy it for A LOT of people.
So i wouldnt just let any smiling innocent face in either. I'd rather deal with a timeline error or failure than a corrupt staff member any day..

Well I don't think it even needs to be officially sanctioned or anything. Maybe a counsel with voted on members who make the decisions. We all come to an agreements and through sheer numbers we help keep things in line. Police ourselves

Why not just ignore anything he says like most people who just login and enjoy playing without a care of what his "plans" are?

A. I don't pvp and thats not a secret. What a random thing to suggest lol. Never knew Mes and sure, I'd pvp him because why not? It's a game and don't care if I die. You take shit wait to seriously.

B. If you believed that someone like Telamon did something like what you just described, then why in the actual fuck would you join and support his server when he betrayed you doing something like that? Your ability to play the victim card here is impressive when you literally have the choice to walk away from something you obviously have hurt feelings about from the past. This is just another drunk escapade of yours that I'm guessing will lead to another "break" of yours. After that, you'll come groveling back to Telamons feet begging for yet another chance. You play a supportive guy when you come back to UOR claiming your clean and got your life together and then it leads to this kind of mental break down and hissy fit. All these problems with the server, players, telamon that you've had over the years, I don't understand why you come back so much.

Sorry to hear about you leaving Jeebs. I get it though, I've seen this with games and admins before, its almost better to stay quiet and make no promises. When you give a timeline or an E.T.A. and then fail to meet that, you really mess with peoples faith and confidence on top of the disappointment from the original failure to meet the deadline.

Ive seen a few posts in here to the effect of, Chris is doing as good of a job as he can on a free server. You are totally right, he's trying, and this server is "free." I know I, as well as many people subscribe or offer money when we can, may not be enough to cover expenses, but id argue it might have accumulated to enough if we didn't keep losing good people like Jeebs due to stupid shit like this. Ive been on and off this server for years but right now, one admin (you can say others exist but there is just no way, the only time anything is done is when Chris shows up) makes things frustratingly difficult to enjoy. I waited 20 Hours on a name change deed, we have been promised CuB for like ever, events go weeks too long, shit ive been trying to get permission to have a 4th account at my IP so my brother can play for more then a week and cant get a response to that, like we don't want or need more players.

Also posts like this are necessary, they may seem a bit narcissistic as someone pointed out, but what they do is really help shine a light on the problems that are enough to make good players stop playin. Its one thing when A Newbie creates a char plays for a week and quits, its a whole other when someone comes on and dedicates some real time to the game and then realizes the lack of support and leaves.
