How hard are these to solo? Would it be difficult for a Provo Tamer with mare and dragons on blues and purples? Also, what about just a Provo Dexxer on reds?
Provo dexxor would be better. You can easily solo red and blue. Purple and green are a bit more challenging. With the right set up you can easy solo all 4 with a provo dexxor. As well as get trophies for iron maning
What the heck, I’ll take a set of the reds then and give them a try this weekend. Now I need to find me a good respond slayer sword and instruments. I’ll be home in 4.5 to 5 hours or after 8:30pm CST tonight if either works for a trade. Otherwise I can catch you this weekend for sure.
@Goblinchild the red ones are the easiest. Bartender and Quartermaster are the only difficult monsters in there, and you can provo pirates onto them and heal the pirate if necessary. Can do it with a +25 vanq katana or equivalent (solo’d my first one with a verite katana). I’ll take 2 purple ones @Majestic — I’m trying to leave them for other people as the last time I bought them all, people seemed upset at me
Also does anyone have a couple of reds for sale? Only done one or two before with some friends, looking to try and Ironman a couple sometime and would like to start with the easy ones....
@Goblinchild one doesn't "have to have" a slayer weapon to start these imo... the instrument, yes... the weapon, "meh". Think vanq and a row of deadly poisoned GM one handers. You'll breeze through, especially on reds, and get a feel for them. ANYONE hesitating on AMIB's should heed this advice. You don't have to be geared to the gills to get started.
Just chiming in. I felt like red was definitely the easiest, followed by green. Some people think green is hard but its rather linear and a pretty straight forward layout. Live up top, undead down low. Blue is only hard if you get an unlucky positioning in the lighthouse but can get messy quick. Purple is by far the hardest once you get into the cave. Red > Green > Blue > Purple from my experiences and I was doing A LOT before I quit.
You can get around the unlucky draw in blues by opening the door and standing on the tile right before dropping down and pulling the quartermaster and anything else out that you want. Makes blue almost, if not as easier, than red
