I know most of us enjoy a variety of ways to make money, but what would you consider your main profession for income?

Personally I have more time spent playing my peace dexxer. But probably most total income has come from my tamers. Something about the challenge of getting bosses to spawn as much as I can intrigues me. Think I've gotten 6 Beholders to spawn within 3 hours one morning.

In general, I hate farm, I love to earn in parallel having fun. I like to play as a thief, but it’s mostly just a fan and sometimes a little profit. But as we all understand money for your favorite pixels you need not small, therefore, sometimes you have to go to a focused farm.

in no particular order at all:
-IDOC, you cant argue free and possibility of extremely rich items are a solid source of income, in my time on UOSA i owned half of the north minoc mines estates by solo idoccing. on this server though the teams have it to locked down to really rock a solo idoc haha, but if in one of the teams you have ability to gain for sure. thus it is a great source of treasure with less work.

-Hunting, either with 3 tamers now or a bard mage, always results in the gold piles stacking up, before i had a tamer i played my bard mage for months farming orcs in orc cave and other locations lol, and farming the top gold spots when less players were on or if i wanted a fight. my best day resulted in something over a million gold gained, not including magic items ect.

-buying and selling goods, is a damn good way to gain a pretty coin, if done right you can work the market very smooth and every one is happy. the more people you do good business with results in more business haha and possibly friends or players who wont dry loot you when they PK you haha.

-Farming various materials, pretty entertaining since you can switch between and or take orders of amounts to sell. BoDs i guess would fit into this but i am not in the BoD game any more than gathering them. but cloth/boards/regs/ingots and such are big monayy.

-treasure maps, very profitable if you have a T mapper character haha, i dont but my brother does, always a good time getting together and the profits are worthy of the time spent in my opinion.

-Events resulting in either Holiday Coin and or Rares. always chances for glorious gains and the best decorations

Stealing.

Nothing like getting some of the hardest earned items using minimal effort.

Someone stole a scroll off the corpse of something my prov mage killed last night. They waltzed in there, hit it for bugger all damage, and got looting rights! I would have happily taken a count as a matter of honour, but alas we were both in Occlo with young status. I made a solemn oath that the next time I saw them, I would retrieve that hefty loss from their corpse.

I was still grumbling about it this morning when I logged in, and lo and behold, fate, the kind mistress she is, had my miner stumble across their fallen body and slain horse! With glee, I skinned the hide off that mare, and killed the gazer hovering over their corpse.

I awaited their return, thinking of how I would gloat about my sweet revenge! And return they did...

I blessed them and cast arch protection on them, and then fetched them a spare horse. Brief and pleasant conversation ensued.
