Not unless you're talking about everyone being in Minax and having an alt in another faction to kill someone that figured it was safe to AFK at a bank on their Minax character

Minax and SL are the only active ones right now. Barely active at the moment.

@Lord Sky All the Minax I know don't have alts in other factions. Why are you assuming that? 75% of Minax just recently switched over to SL if that's what you're referring to.
Never a good idea to AFK a faction char at a bank...

@twarf bunch of minax in shield of light have shadowlords alts.

Shield of Light left Minax for SL. I don’t think they've been too active on faction chars since quitting Minax.

We have a crew of about 4-5 Minax ready to fight. Let’s get factions active again

There is no PvP on this shard.

If factions were still active and popping I think you’d have more than 2 people replying in this thread debating its “deadness“.

We gotta start being more honest with people here as it’s borderline fraudulent to suggest anything else.

I think it’s better to say, factions/PVP is almost non existent here rather then say that they’re bumping, as it’s better than fronting, letting someone make a character or join up, then run around and realise for themselves it’s dry toast and have to wait a week to get their toon back out.

Don’t breed more discontent guys.

And just FWIW, I like all of y’all, I’m not having a pop at either of you.

Honestly, I was hoping to get my hands on a warhorse.

I joined factions, not killed anyone yet so can't use a horse.
Sad times.

Here's what you do:

1) Join a faction that has a vendor (Minax, Shadowlords)
2) Buy a war horse from the vendor (3000 gold, 500 silver)
3) Mount said war horse

SUPER COOL KID STEP: Leave the faction and don't die. Your war horse stays until you die or dismount it

I didn't know this,,, I thought all Shield players went strait Shadowlords..A disturbance in the Light i feel.!... Also, the Minax Discord isn't all Minax, it is the Universal PK discord here as well, at least from what i was told..

What do you do for the blessed faction weapon? That would be kinda nice...

join the faction on your crafter
craft at the designated area with silver in your pocket
enjoy your new blessed weapon

Maybe they did, I know I still have my Minax guy and another guy in Shadowlords but Zandak is never online when I am so they're not guilded

If anything, this is more of an example of how non-existant PvP is on this shard. Which makes me wonder why the fuck @twarf is rolling around with a group of 4-5. We don't need another Lacan & Anna on this shard.

i roll my Shadowlord around all the time, i guess people cant find me, or they do when im just standing in a city derping around.

ahh.. i didn't realize you had to not die and stay mounted. That kind of defeats the purpose of a 400hp mount, imho.

I'm in shadowlords .. and I have no idea where the vendor is.

I said factions are barely active right now. Faction fights seem to come and go. Sort of like all of the PvP here as well.
Sadly, you do have to search for it these days, but it's also summer and the 2 summers before that I have been around the PvP does die down a lot. Once the events start to roll around it picks up.


@Lord Sky - who is your PvP char? I don't think I have ever seen you PvP or even try to get involved in PvP ...
I have been rolling around in a group of 3 and we have been fighting groups of 6-7... So not sure what you are trying to get at...

@Blendax He means only if you quit the faction while on the horse. If you are still in the faction you can hop on and off the mount anytime.

So now I just have to find the Shadowlords vendor. Are faction vendors just regular vendors placed by a faction member?
