These mystical words are still used today in the casting of all magical spells. You can now hunt for books about these mystical words across the lands! Books complete with the symbols, knowledge, and magic! Collect all twenty six books and combine their magic to create a mystic spellbook.

Is there a special type of monster that is more prone to have these drop? I would love to farm some different types of mobs in hopes of getting some of these
A good question, its no secret that I am seeding these books myself. If your goal if to obtain max books then its best to try clearing many locations. I dont login to seed more books every hour so farming one location non-stop in unlikely to yield new books To more directly answer the question about mobs... no special type. As with the Ancient Tombs and translation books of the last quest, these new books can be found on everything from orcs to balrons.
Great event Keza, I'm half way there! I think it's pretty cool @Chris allows a player to be part of the design team so to speak. Me adventures as of late led me yonder to an ungodly place. Yea tho great turmoil; mine beasts of burden slay Zealots of a word I dare speak again. Khaldun. Oh so dark and eerie full of unhuman death I only speak of so that thou may not share such angst. Yet my beasts prevailed, and thus endowed upon me three new books of mystic wisdom!
The hunt for mystic texts continues As some players have almost completed a collection, I have cut-off new book generation at 27 sets. After I finish seeding the last 8 sets (208 books) it will be up to player turn-in books to continue the quest. This also means that the current number of the hued books is MAXed out. From here on out the number of hued books will slowly drop as people miss looting them. Total of 30 books decayed as of this post.
I have a full set 26/26. I had help in getting them and paid a decent amount of gold. I am curious as to whether anyone else has a full set yet?
Got a full set as well ! And I know of a few people who are 1 book away, so looks like we will be soon have a lot of spellbooks around
Goal complete. A full set for deco and a spell book. It has been a while since I was so excited about collecting a set.
Yeah, as soon as I read Keza's original post saying that you have to choose if you want deco set or spellbook, I knew I will have to try really hard for 2 sets. The decision would have been impossible otherwise. Single books have very nice hues but the spellbooks is more practical since you can carry it around.
Special Alert to All Mystic Collectors It seems I have been meddling with powers beyond my control and have made an error! The small mystical portals used to summon the mystic spellbooks is somehow transferring mystical powers to the 26 books! Upon seeding the first turned-in batch of books, some monsters began to glow when touching them! While its risky, I will continue to seed these books across the lands. Thus far not all books cause the mystical transformation (normal monsters will still have some). I fear the abomination that might come from a balron picking up one of these mystically charged books. Screen shots and tails of these mystical encounters are most welcome.
The naturalists found an orc mystic in the Compassion/Rat Valley orc cave during the last naturalist quest. It appearently doesn't like the other orcs. It was a good fight but we prevailed in the end. I got the mystic book off of it.
