    They only win if you let it get to you Earsnot. Of course my internet is so bad at home I lose connection when we are not getting DDOS'ed. :)

    HAHA @Chris I think I can beat you on bad internet!! I always have a safe, scared of being disconnected play style.

    Maybe they will figure out soon these attacks aren't going to work.. but then again there isn't help for stupid

    I hope they find this person and when they are assign them a cell, their cell mate is seriously exponentially larger than they are. I hope there are multiple DDOS attacks a day while they reside there...

    Heya Chris, I'm sorry to hear that this is happening again. I remember that before I had to retire a few years ago, DDOS attacks were quite an issue. Would more donation dollars help fight the DDOS attacks, or is the business level hosting that you have already top notch? Let me know! I love the server and would love to support it as much as I can, or as much as is needed.

    We all waited out the idiots last time, can easily do so again. Only reason I can think of them doing this is jealousy. Must be sad being them. So sorry Tela you've got this stress going on. Just know you are vwry appricated

    my connection issues here have been paltry its more of a lose connection than not being able to connect for me and i can 99% of the time re-connect immediately if not almost. But it seems (and i am by far no computer pro) these were from ddos attacks or something like that and not a server side or personal online issue.
    But for a overall rating i personally for a free shard give it 4 1/2 to 5 stars for staying connected and issues dealt with accordingly.
    (edits for the 4th time)
    Not to mention I've been on for 5 days strait (macroing) no issues (except a little lag) and have not disconnected since if that says anything

    Looks like it is that time of year again. The for profit server's having connection issues, and facing DDOS issues themselves have decided to attack the one free to play server.

    Follow the tips in the above post if you have any connection issues and contact the staff if you need any assistance.

    Our hosting protects us from almost all DDOS efforts but you might lose connection briefly and have to get past the protections to log back in.

    i was thinking this isnt the *norm* felt like a ddos, guess people are butthurt because they dont sport the best UO shard. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! ;p. Sall good thanks for the Update Chris.

    Ive been good pretty much since i started in i think february,

    This so minimal and the uptime in my opinion is still better than retail was *at least when i was playing there*.

    Anyone that trolls about this minimal incident needs to take a break or walk the dog anyway lol
