Starting with the 2020 event we will be moving away from using the same Easter eggs each year. We found that to account for the carry over in unused eggs each year we were slowly increasing the prices for items in the Easter egg hunt shop (inflation if you will). So rather than raising the prices further this year we are introducing a new Easter Egg matching the events color theme. These eggs will only be valid for points in the 2020 Easter shop to help keep the event approachable for new players looking to get a desirable item. Players can keep the old eggs as rare items (no more will be added) or they can redeem them in the copper system for 1 copper coin each. Sorry for the short notice on this. In doing research for the new event and reviewing the item database we determined that this was a necessary change. The 2019 Easter shop will remain open right up until the patch is applied (planned for the evening of the 20th). And players can cash in the old eggs for older rewards if they so desire until that time. The color changes, and the addition of a year to the name of the eggs will help players easily tell the difference between the eggs. Note: Golden Easter eggs will still retain their color year to year but will have a year added to their name.
Man...that’s dirty pool. 1 day notice to use or lose what some people might have saved for a rainy day. We either put in time to collect or bought those for a min of 1k an egg. You are not making it anywhere even by valuing them at 1 copper or 14gp each. Top it all off, we have about 24 hours to figure out which trash can we want to throw it in, nice.
Regarding the price of Old easter eggs,they may well be worthless now,But in theory the New ones should be worth more than 1k
Or at least make them cub-able! Otherwise we could just poison them and leave them around the streets of Ocllo lol
For all new players that this will be their 1st Easter event, please post how to redeem the eggs. What is it exactly you have to say when you approach any of the "Reward Vendors"?
