Now that we have bonded dragons running around, people shelling out cash for good stats, and people spending a lot of time training them, I'd love to see the maximum stable time increased from 1 week to 2 weeks. This would put them on the same refresh timer as properties. Note: I have not actually tested and confirmed that the stablemaster punts pets to the curb after 1 week. I'm just going off their word.
Don't the stable masters charge 30 gold per week per pet after the first week has passed? As long as you have actual gold in your account you should be g2g. Stable info - http://www.uorenaissance.com/info/?page=info&id=508
Pets in the stables haven't decayed unless you run out of gold for quite a while. Last spring is when it got patched.
One thing to check on is if the stablemaster takes gold from checks in your bank, or just gold from a pile. I know at a player-run vendor, you can spend gold from checks. That's the situation I can envision ending with the most number of pets being lost: "Balance" "You have 200,124 gold in your account" "Check 200000" ...then the stablemaster tries to get his 30 gold for each of your pets, and some are lost.
Very good, thanks for info all! I'll have to verify again, but I think the way it's worded in game sounds like the stablemaster is going to cut the pets loose after one week if they aren't claimed.
In the past few months I haven't been as active as I used to be, in that period I was not able to refresh my pets once. I logged on a few days ago and found all my pets were still there!
Some shards its as you say, other shards as long as you have gold in your bank its safe. On this shard its the ladder.
Ladders only in houses here...........all my pets were still here after more than a year of not playing.
