You can gate in, stable, and log out before your gate is done. Handful of houses on the server you can do that. Plus it’s guardline.
I believe @TreeHugger meant you can gate in, run over to stable, stable your pets, run back over and log before the gate is closed. Cant do any commands inside house unless the npc strolls down to the southeast corner. But that's rare. No worries if you're not interested in the price point. Villas most recent purchase history has been 5 mill to a guy named Outlaw, then he sold it 5 mil to me, I put in some lockdown expansions, then I got desperate for some gold and sold it to a guildie for 4 mil, but that guildie recently moved on from uor and gave it back to me so it wouldn't sit without purpose as we dont like that to happen with good housing spots. Not prepared right now to take anything less as I don't need the cash and if it doesn't sell then I'll go with my next plan for it.
