Suggestion to Change Checks in your Bank

Is there any way to change this for the better? Can we remove the item count from our bank to not count mil checks? I believe this would serve everyone better and be much less of a hassle for big transactions. Gathering second accounts that primarily exist to hold your fat stacks shouldn't be a thing. Lets perfect this history!

I’d love an overhaul of the whole banking system. I’d like this:

“Balance”

Your account contains:
17 Million in gold cheques
456’000 in gold coin
784 platinum coin
343’000 copper coin
213 Holiday Coin

I’d happily accept a Gump displaying that too. I always felt like having the bank teller announce your wealth to everyone in the bank was kinda trashy and uncouth.

I too would like to see that returned when I say balance

Not having plat/hc/copper included in the 'balance' statement would be nice though. And I do really like 'snot's gump suggestion.

I agree we need a complete overhaul, however I was just making a suggestion that I thought would be relatively quick and painless to implement. Something that wouldn't take weeks or months to code. Labeler and Earsnot both have great suggestions.

Hell, I still haven't received any copper for being a subscriber for months so I haven't even messed with any of the CUB rewards yet. Still waiting.

I have not reached out to him directly about this no. I assumed no one has received them yet for being subscribers. I know he's busy and with all the stuff still waiting to be fixed, I'm trivial and I get that.

Some people have it and others don’t. I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason too it. Everything’s logged though, at some point it will all be added, you won’t miss out bud don’t worry.

I’ve got copper viewable in my account via the [profile menu but it isn’t visible when I try and buy something from the reward vendor and I can’t transfer it into my bank. Last I spoke to Chris about it he said that it needs to be sorted still and that it would happen soon.

It appears Chris has to manually add your donation copper. It doesnt appear automatically month by month the way platinum does.

He added mine, but then as months passed, the balance didn't change. The copper is still building, but if I wanted to see the balance Chris would have to go back in and manually add it again.

The only reason I mentioned it was because it helped show how much Chris already has on his plate as this was all implemented months ago. This wasn't a /wahh I'm not getting my pixels. It was more of a Hey what's a quick way to give us some fixes without taking up all of the admins time. I believe this banking system has been broken for ages and was hoping for a few simple ideas to help us out without killing all volunteers time. They already have enough on their plate, imo.


For a long-haul project that would take some time, I do love Earsnots idea about a gump with all listed currency available. Labeler also brought up a cool idea with 10mil checks or maybe 20mil checks? Increments of 10s? Something to help with the problem! Wouldn't take tons of time to make I assume

A fast “fix” would be to increase the max as others have suggested.
Also support the idea of a gump.

Is that really a thing .. needing multiple accounts just to handle one's fat stacks?
