I figured I would share my lumberjacking macro with everyone. Since you cannot gather resources afk here, this macro works perfect. You stand on the east side of a tree and hit play with an axe in your hand. The macro will do everything for you, including cutting the logs into boards. All you need to do is put the boards in your bank or packhorse. The macro will also tell you when to move to the next tree by shouting "Next Tree!" Enjoy, just copy and paste this into a razor macro file. !Loop Assistant.Macros.IfAction|8|-1|0 Assistant.Macros.DressAction|Axe Assistant.Macros.EndIfAction Assistant.Macros.HotKeyAction|1305| Assistant.Macros.WaitForTargetAction|5 Assistant.Macros.TargetRelLocAction|-1|0 Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:01.1000000 Assistant.Macros.IfAction|4|0|harvest Assistant.Macros.SpeechAction|0|52|3|ENU|0|next tree! This is an awesome macro to GM LJ quickly. However I made a few changes to speed things up. You seem to lose time once you get close to your max weight and the macro is forced to pause to chop logs into boards. To lower the amount of time lost I made 2 changes. The first change is to your overall max carry weight. I have 100 str (max weight 390) so I bumped it to 390. The 2nd change I made was for the pause timer after you cut logs into boards. It is set at 6, I lower to 3 with no problems. Thank you again for the great maco HateCrime.
I justed wanted to note, This macro CAN be used as a means to gather Kindling also. Just make sure you have your newbie dagger in your hand instead of an axe. However once you reach the weight limit assigned to the macro to cut the wood into boards, you'll just get an error saying "no item type found" This isn't a big deal if you're just using the macro to gather kindling as I did to just raise your core stats (str, int, dex) and burn the kindling as you go along before you actually reach the weight limit.
Thanks for taking the time to write a guide for Renaissance. Your guide has been added to the Renaissance Compendium. To direct players to this guide simply tell them to go to info.uorenaissance.com and find the related skill page. Renaissance Compendium - Lumberjacking
Where does razor save the macros on the harddrive? I couldn't find it to paste that into it.When I try in the application itself it doesn't seem to work unless I'm doing something wrong.
Could be a couple things... Might not be in the exact correct spot. I would try to re-target the relative location.
Also, not all trees can be chopped. I found this frustrating as I have a stump "hack" and can't tell the difference from stump to stump. You have to monitor it.
Yep, good point. I forget what they are named in-game, but the 'trees' that are a clump of 3 twigs cannot be chopped.
Ah, yes! Britannia's ubiquitous o'hii tree. Sometimes there's just a rock or fallen logs that'll mess up your macro, though. Not to mention certain spots where there's an elevation change preventing you from "seeing" the tree right next to you.
http://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8mgCaov7GDedWlEaWZRSG1BcWs/edit Here is an edited version of Hate's macro to make you look for a tree south & and walk, but will take you perma-out sync.
I can't seem to figure out why the sys message for harvest and chopping of logs into board isn't working. Trying to figure it out but it doesn't make sense.
I'm serious. He changed something so it doesn't see lumber or mining related (possibly more) related sysmessages.
