I got the copper, been earning it for years.. Sure its a manual process, but so is name change and extra char slots and swapping toons to other accounts via copper and its being done today. GTFO out of my CY's & YOURS too... You all should be well aware that there are people who have your CY's marked just waiting on an opportunity to take advantage of you ! NO CY IS SAFE !!
I think you all bring a ton to this server - so I hope this isn’t taken the wrong way - but CY wipes and house-to-house teleporters feel really Trammy to me. Gotta have risk!
Trammel arrives by a thousand small changes. And then you look back and you’re playing a risk free game.
The risk is still there but it would be nice for new home owners to not have to pay for the previous owners carelessness of getting runes marked inside. I would love to see courtyards decorated and not with a hundred tables or crates as blockers. Looks so tacky and an eye sore on the server when running by and seeing that. Courtyard is compromised and the only resolve is to lay down a ton of crates? Or disable the courtyard but what's the point of even having one at that point? Still a ton of felluca left, just have to make the right decisions to not only correct it, but to balance it which I can only imagine is a big headache on Chris and having to overthink every decision before he goes through with it. Besides, players have been donating for a very long time with the major incentive of courtyard wipes which several have already moved on already because the changes have taken so long to the point where UOR has felt like an abandoned project at times. Call it donations all you want, it has still been an incentive to get players to stay and play.
I am not sure if wipe is the best... i am only sure is that is ugly and not natural all that cya filled with boxes/tables.
CYs should not be safe. Of course, I say that with 99.99% certainty my CY is still secure, so I'm a giant fucking hypocrite and no one should listen to me.
Cool. But there’s was an incentive to donate money to the server/adopt a playstyle that encouraged amassing items to be turned in in exchange for copper which you could purchase a safe CY with that was presented by Chris that made us believe it was an option. So lots, and lots, and lots of people did exactly that, for this specific reason. And would really like to see it happen, or hear about an update. Otherwise, we’re chumps. Chumps who wasted time, effort, energy and let’s be honest, our money on something we don’t have. No one likes being a chump.
