This Friday night at 10:00pm EST, the Harrower is being summoned, and the entire shard is invited to come down the dreaded lich! New and old players alike are invited to come experience the fight for themselves, but only at their own risk! Gates directly to the fight will be popping up at Occlo stables throughout the battle. Just show up ready for a fight! Join the UO:R Public Champ discord server for more information about this and other public champs as they happen. Fight Overview: Stage 1: You might get sucked in so bring red pots to chug and run back out again before you die. Keep a close eye on his health. You DO NOT want to be there when he dies or it will be instant death for you and a fast death for all your pets. Stage 2: The True Harrower will be there but first we must clear all the tentacles. Pets are useless, the tentacles gain health draining life faster than your pets can kill them. You can throw greater explosion pots or cast meteor swarm from out of life-drain range. The True Harrower will still suck you in so keep those red pots handy and do your best to stay out of suck range. Stage 3: Bring on the pets! When the True Harrower dies as long as you dealt at least 500 net damage (damage you and your pets take counts against your total) you are in for a plat payday! You must be within 25 tiles of the True Harrower and alive for the plat to hit your bag, otherwise you are out of luck. The trick is to stay out of suck range and within plat range. There will be plenty of loot on the ground once the True Harrower dies (the splash!) but also thieves and PKs about who will be interested in that big stack of plat. You are best off gating to a bank and depositing your plat before hoovering up the loot! Special thanks to Leeloo for helping build the momentum for this and keep it going.
