The last news article on the homepage is from May 2019, that is exactly two years ago now. That to me says dead or dying when the shard is anything but dead or dying. So whoever has that duty needs to get back to it or someone else needs to be tasked with it, is it so hard to bang out a nonsense article about what's happening in game? Even 20 words and a screenshot would do... The homepage is the first thing newcomers see when looking for a shard (or anything really) and when they see that the last news article was two years ago it puts them off joining. You only have to create a news article maybe once every three - or even six - months and that way anyone who visits the homepage will see activity from either the current year or the holiday period of the previous one. Just a friendly suggestion from a long time player, short time commenter.
Nothing new to report on since about 2018 so why change the home page? The owner would actually have to show up for that to happen.
When you go to the sites of other shards, everything repels everything, and when you come across a renaissance, you understand that it is worth checking, because everything is very clear and beautiful. But definitely this topic has been raised before and just behold a diamond. Try others and go back to the classic, the latest mainstay of the real uo, this won't happen anymore, the rails are long over. thumbs up
Or, if you’re an adult, you realize that this is a free shard running on someone else’s dime with a skeleton crew (during a pandemic); I’m pretty sure he has a young kid too. His time is limited and I assume that he’s focused on what he finds most important. Have you messaged him and offered him help with updating the site or with anything else?
I recall a few times where he blew off people with coding experience who offered their time and knowledge and he didnt even dignify them with a response...

Ok, here’s how to solve this issue. Chris makes a blessed sash that is imbued with +20/30/40/50 luck. Wearing this sash gives the player way better loot drops. Once a day for one hour, that’s given to any players that requests it with no more than one pop a month with the sash. The caveat? Whole hour you’re wearing that sash your’re live streaming for the UOR POWER HOUR. Content is uploaded to YouTube on an official channel, highest views at the end of the month win a prize. Promotes the server, creates content for the site, incentivises players to get out farming and will definitely catch some PVP happening. You’re welcome.
