Stealing is so nerfed for any reason?

How is it that my thief became restricted from stealing PVP? How can I get rid of it?

You click your heels, turn around in a circle and evoke Shadowjack's name 3 times.

I'm thinking that I must be missing something.

Shadowjack was notorious for making threads about stealing being nerfed Hell he may have even started this thread, I haven't checked! lol

Did you take a murder count?

Has to be... and stealing works extremely well for me, I can't imagine a time when it was easier!

I think that I have a murder count yes, although not a purposeful PK. Can I get rid of it?

I can't remember the specifics of it... but I think it means you have to let that count decay or it might be a solid 2 weeks or a week in real time that they boot you out of the thieves guild.

Have you tried re-joining the thieves guild?

You need to have the character logged in for 40 hours to get rid of a long term murder count.
Say in game "I must consider my sins" and it will tell how many counts you have
