Set an alarm for about once a week. When the alarm goes off, log in and double click the sign using a friend of the house.

Give it to Jack, he knows what to do :p. Now for 30 million it is difficult to find a buyer. I have been selling this sst for a long time and sold it for 7.

However, if one person had the idea of a weapons museum, then the other will not be a fan of this idea and over time this project will wither without a true and original curator. Just remember the giant Azot’s Museum-Library Salt Scam! This is the wildest pyramid on UOR...

I'm glad you bought this cool sst from me. But at that moment I had to pay back the deposit of 12 million and could not spend much time on the game, so I had to part with this property!

Buddy, if you want this cool museum to stand for as long as possible, just follow the advice Dream Weaver! ;)

    Regards,
    Kir

There are no permanently fixed museums that I am aware of. There are Player run displays, some private, some open to the public.

If you are replying in this thread with drama attempts, please take it to trash talk where it belongs.

Tell the whole story, not the juicy bits that support a narrative.

Were YOU scammed or did you just "hear" about it. When I took over curatorship, I put out word to EVERYONE that if they had donated and felt taken advantage of, I would make it right... Some did, and I did, Others no longer played here and didnt care anymore & still more who do play here were not butthurt in the least.

Just to clarify - no drama attempts on my end. I think @LanDarr has done a good job of getting the items displayed for the public and in a great location. I suggested for @jumpman to pass it off because it would make for a great extension to the landar and companies Museum.

PLEASE do not give me more houses/responsibilities.

:) This USED to be the Museum Complex... I sold off all but the villa for good reasons and Great Prices as I felt the island needed a more diverse population

I don't have enough gold to be the target of a scam. And I will not write a book about the pyramid of rarities. If someone reading my post does not understand what I meant, then he will either pass by or look on the forum. But I'm glad that it catches, because the truth hurts sometimes.

Nothing against museums. Yes, I walked in the forest, but I did not get lost. @LanDarr ;)

By the way, great macro. Find a car you don't need and keep the weapons museum under your valiant name! @jumpman

There are actually a surprising number of homes on UOR that are in perma refresh status. And no, not just the ones with a stable attached. I bet most people would be very surprised at how many houses will never fall.... in fact I'd go as far as to say its kinda ridiculous.

SO! There is hope for you after all.

I've kinda noticed this, no chars show up on two chars tracking at gm, nothing in the journal, owners of the house and as many alts I know, not showing online status on myuo. The only conclusion I could come up with is either auto or staff refresh.

I could be wrong, not making any accusations at all, it just puzzles me when that happens across multiple houses.

    Real Life happens...

And when it does, house owners or friends of the owner have contacted staff and asked for decay to be turned off while they deal with it. I have asked for it a couple times in the past 9 years. (btw none of mine are on non decay)

In an ideal world, this is temporary and good records are kept with houses, reasons and amount of time decay should be off for.
But records get lost, not kept, things forgotten, Length of time decay is off varies wildly depending on circumstance. Staff changes.

But NONE of this information will ever be formally shared with the players, nor should it be. We have to trust they are doing their roles here to the best of their ability for the good of ALL the server.

I dont know of any staff or volunteer whose duties include going around and refreshing houses. If they do it, its on their own time cause they still play here.

If I thought there were houses out there on permanent refresh that should not be, I might submit the coords to ALL GMs (Quick, Keza, Samorite & Telamon) in hopes they may look into them and see if something was missed or records lost & maybe take action. I would not expect updates on any actions they may take.

Pro Tip, if the house status changes AT ALL, its not on Non Decay, someone is manually refreshing it.

This is a good post @LanDarr

    and

By joining, I definitely saw an adequate line of management. After reviewing the forum, I have almost no delusions that the server is worthy of my time. My favorite era, good management and excellent participants.

Perhaps something is hidden from prying eyes, but in general I believed and continue to believe that this place will go forward.

UOR is already great in my eyes. I enjoy when time allows and trust the staff.

… and even if I am mistaken, the time spent here has always only made me happy. And salt and bacon, well, without these ingredients, it’s completely insipid and boring. Ha!

    Long live UOR!
