Its pretty slick honestly. I just cant figure out how to get the keyboard to come up for macros. Then I learned about the "create buttom" function. You can just make am on screen button. Im going to expieriment with mirrioring this to my TV. Just coming back from a 2+ yeae break from UOR. This update is great. Im loving it.
Still no luck running UO Mobile. Looking more & more like it's my provider [ T-mobile]not allowing access to the port. Was wondering if any of the uo mobile users are playing it in T-mobile and if they are experiencing any problems. Thanks in advance, South
Disarm macros make it easier then dragging the weapon back on my paperdoll. After a recall stuff like that. Also so I can disarm my bow and arm a wand for healing or ID. Can be pain staking trying to pick up a wand or weapon with the touch screen lol
The app probably uses a lot of data, did you go into the settings of your phone to allow the app to use cellular data when not on WiFi?
That would be strange since UO uses so few data, it was designed for old dial up modem comms. maybe 1 to 5 MegaByte per hour depending what you are doing.
i think one of the issues of UO is that is different of the new online games that pre download all the info you would eventualy use in your game experience before you enter the game. i think is more real time... thats why require a good conection to play properly even in our days.
Alright now that my life is screwed.. I'm going to be playing on mobile for the next little while. So far the game looks great, I'm super pumped to start jamming UO wherever I may roam. However I have some questions if there are any people out there who are familiar with this app.. For one, how do I chat? I can't go very far if I can't get into my bank, now can I. Are there any guides to making macros? I'm not familiar with the uomobile macro system, can make killer razor macros but not here. Looking to get some help if anyone knows how to write decent macros....looking to get a runebook copier and a magebook filler using inscription...anyone? Every time I try it just turns out to be a mess lol FYI, bluetooth keyboard/mouse works great on a phone, i can leave it plugged in and charged up while i game, no need for USB wires. Get rechargeable keyboard/mouse and you're goood to go!
I got tired of waiting for a repo to pop up so I made one. I have to manually target the tree's leaves to whack them!! So I have yet to get a decent Jacking macro working.
UO:R is doable on any Samsung S series or on OPPO/Motorola/Xiaomi phones that run Samsung DEX. (or alternative) I've hooked up my phone to a portable monitor and use BT mouse/keyboard to control the game, works flawlessly. Alternatively you could hook up your DEX supporting phone to a lapdock and have an impromptu laptop. Yes I said as a laptop since there are apps for remote controlling PC's (for gaming, work or IT support), Xbox, Playstation as well as cloud gaming.
