    for the 09-22 winners list we can see it is not because of the big fish weight... it is the first one posting in each tier no matter the weight of the big fish the one who wins (in the 71-80 tier Rawrrrz appears as winner with a 76 stone big fish but Ahirman got a 78 stone later on)... and rules seem to be the same during the whole event according to the first quote in this thread... but good questions however sir rawrrrz
