So i have never GM'd a blacksmith before. I have gotten close but never managed to stick to it. Lately I mined a bunch of iron about 12k. I went from 82% to 92%, basically. Can anyone tell me if this is comparable with their experiences,
IIRC, there’s a few blacksmith threads that track it. I think the last stretch gains a little faster near the end. Been many years since I Gmd it
My guess is you probably need 10K-20K more ingots until you hit GM (I have GM smithing on all 3 of my Bod toons). You can buy ingots from the blacksmith shoppe. You get a 1gp/per discount if you are part of the blacksmith guild.
Yes, I'm aware.. thought i would open up a discussion on the subject though anyway for fun, in case anyone wanted to chat while I make the final ascent XD Hm, interesting.. thanks for the info. I will report back once I finish. My plan then will be to mine 20k ingots, then when I GM I will just sell the rest. I won't buy ingots though, I kind of enjoy mining
