The concept of 'In Nox Grav' was used by Zippiddyboobiddy as a counter to Sosaria's system of governing virtues. It stresses individuality and difference. Zippiddyboobiddy cast 'In Nox' after overhearing a conversation wherein it was revealed that Telamon, Samorite and Peace wished to get everyone to follow the unattended path, even though this would result in the integration of the Event Center.

Zippidyboobiddy feared that integration would mean that the people banking at each city would be basically adherent to the Event Center. Therefore, Zippiddyboobiddy trained his magery to help insure that the unattended path of Trammel would never conquer all. As long as one agent of chaos cast 'In Nox' instead, the realm would never be Trammel.

Some of Zippiddyboobiddy's writings, for example; note: "On the Diversity of Our Loot," make it clear that Zippidyboobiddy would extend fundamental death to, bank-parkers, tamers and fishermen. After Zipiddyboobiddy turned red, partially under the influence of nIghtshade, he took on a more sinister overtone than just upon Tramellites. It became one of the lack of moral standards, decay, murder, and death.
