So, I'm sorry to add this to the sale thread, but I have an honest question. I get the mask and boots are valuable, but is the lantern just a toss in? Newbied lanterns aren't valuable, right? If this message bothers the seller, please delete it as you see fit. Thanks.
It's kinda hard to tell on your screenshot, since you're using the https version of the page which takes all of the formatting away from the page, but there's a 1 in 3012 chance that you're holding the one lantern called "lantern" and a 3011 in 3012 chance that you've got just a regular lantern. Now, unfortunately, the info page doesn't show how many of those 3011 lanterns are newbied. That number is much lower than 3011, but I think the odds are that you don't have a 1/1 item there. I mean, without even logging on another character than I was using when I went to bed last night, I can show you 3 newbied lanterns right now. Many of my characters still carry their newbied lanterns from when I first started, and one (the one whose pack i screenshotted) still has his newbied candle. Here is the formatted version of the item database for the lantern. The first item on the database that doesn't have a name is just the common item. It's like that on most of the entries in the database. I don't know why there's a 1/1 item with the same name. Perhaps Peace or someone who would know can shed some light on that. I'm really sorry to derail your trade post. I just want to make sure you're not accidentally misrepresenting your item for sale. If it does indeed turn out that you do have the 1/1 lantern, then I wish you well, but it looks like just a lantern that's newbied. Apparently (as I found out after some digging last night) it's not a super common item anymore, since they patched them out years ago, but not necessarily a 1 of 1 item.
Hey Kirby, that was a good catch, no worries. In the meanwhile I've also updated my message in WTS channel. Looking forward to hear more from Landarr about this one. It'd be great to know how many of these are around since yes, as you said, it was patched many years ago. Who knows how many of these are actually around and available for those who are interested in having one.
Thanks for being understanding. The database can be annoying with how it shows things. BTW if you want to have the formatting on the UOR site, just remove the "S" from https, and it will display correctly. There's a way to make your browser do it every time you load a page from uorenaissance.com, but I can't remember what it is.
