Inside faction bases are supposed to be no recall or gate zones. Similar to the way terathan keep works. or should work. It plays into the siege aspect of guarding/storming a base, instead of just recalling anywhere inside.
You cant recall in,only out.And you cant recall at all with a sigil on you.And you also cannot gate in or out.
ya the only place you can recall in or out or gate is the section leading up to the ladders on the bridge, Past that you are not suppose to be able to recall gate or mark.
I cannot walk into any of the faction bases (which I know is the way it should be...), but I can recall into the bases, and I am not in any faction... just throwing this out there in case it makes any difference...
Interesting, any related documentation to support the proper function of the recall/gate spell in faction bases? It does make sense that these spells should be limited in these areas, however we might also look at the exact bounds of the faction bases to make sure if we apply this restriction or some variant of it that it is fair for all 4 factions. Ergo each faction having to go through the same effort to reach a recall/gate area. Thanks for the report.
I don't know if he does but from looking up patch notes and stuff I haven't found anything with pictures showing the restricted era for recalling other then if your not factions, Just seems that's the way it was cause when people run into a base to grab sigs or there's fighting for the sigs people just recall away so they don't lose points or die. There's a certain line people not in factions can't cross so I guess if every base had it to where you can't recall unless your on the other side of that line it would be fair.
I don't have anything saying it was like that, but I have played that way and its an easy fix. It's not necessarily something I am considering era accurate since its apparent that it is a selective term used for arguments sake. Easy fix. You may want to consider looking at the regions for the in-town strongholds as I have been told faction vendors and guards are allowed past the stronghold line. Also thank you. Currently the only thing allowed in faction bases is the ability to recall out. You cannot recall in, gate in or out, or mark in a designated faction zone. If a case wants to be made for disabling the ability to recall out of a faction zone, then I would recommend making a post in era discussion for that specific issue.
Wrong, you were always able to recall out, if you were able to recall in general (noncrim, no sigil, no heat of battle, etc.) You just can´t gate, and recall in, which is fine.
You may be right but it doesn't really make sense. This could fall under the history perfected part, like pet bonding.
