Grand Opening of WispFelt Rune Library!

Theme: Halloween Costume Ball!

Come to the grand opening of the WispFelt Rune Library. Come see what possibilities of places there are to explore! Make sure to walk the grounds and take in on all the lovely décor and the beautiful wisp garden. Create a costume (you can be an witch, warlock, orc, tribal person, another player what ever you like!), Come mingle and play some games. There will be an open bar and snacks. If the celebration lasts a bit we can take the whole group over to the server's Halloween event that starts after the grand opening. Please come and welcome Westra's WispFelt Village to the community!

Just want to note, the WispFelt Rune Library is the large tower that sits in front of the wisp garden. That is where this event will happen.

Remember when costume parties were full of guys dressed like the Crow? I think this is gunna be like that except with Barracoon costumes.

Is it just me or does the Crow look just like the lead singer of The Cure?

My Fair Lady's Clothing Company is open for business if you need a tailor to make Your special designed costumes, she have approximately 400 different hues in stock.

Prices is charged per yard used and everything will be exceptionally made, starting at 500g/yard.

Arg, did I hear there be an open bar? Where there be open bars, there be Rex, however dressin up in a costume is not something you'll find me doin. Dressin up in a costume sounds like a bunch of foo foo landlubber muck and ya aignt gunna find me doin it!

Everyone's outfits were awesome! That was really a neat surprise. 5 stars!

Mes was a spartan! (awesome) there was a Jaxx from Mortal Kombat, a couple witches, TWO Jupiters, two pirates, two Franzs, Carey? a drowned orc, a blinged out orc, a vampire mistress and even a knight in shining armor. (me)

you know, honestly this was one of the most enjoyable player events I ever went to.

She is the Governess and founder of Wispfelt, and without her planting the foundation and idea for this marvelous area the fun we had last night never would have been inspired! Westra migrated to UO:R long ago, and I think Wispfelt is a grand pinnacle of her achievements!

I was going to add pictures to this thread myself, but it appears that Mes and Vlar have beat me to it and have supplied a thorough and, dare I say, 'frightening' collage of EPICS!!!

I would like to point out that I had originally planned to actually 'carry out' the murders and the lynchings in UO, however, in order to stay in line with the wishes of Lady Marjo, I opted to omit this, and we just sent the dead folks to 'the dead zone' on the porch. (I hear it got rather crowded).

I'm glad so many enjoyed the impromptu game of Mafia.
