I came across one my old note books from years ago. Friend and I would role-play bards by standing around banks in busy cities , playing lute music and typing out song lyrics. ( actually got some gold for our efforts lol) Know we have some hard core role-players so thought I'd post this old "Pub" type song. Who knows, might inspire someone. if not bard, perhaps can come up with some old poems which fit the UOR ear for recitals . Who knows... "TELL ME HOW TO WOO THEE" If doughty deeds my Lady please, Right soon I'll mount my steed. And strong his arm and fast his seat, That bares from me the mead. I'll wear they colours in my cap, thy image at my heart. and he that bends not to thine eye, shall rue it to his smart. Then tell me now, oh tell me please How am I to woo thee, how am I to woo thee. Westra ps: If anyone can find the author and or date of this song, would appreciate.
Next time there is a Jupiter adventure I suggest at least someone sing humorous lyrics as we go. "The brave old Wizard got us lost got us lost got us lost Then the old wizard ran away ran away ran away The masses he was with died in the fray died in the fray died in the OOoOoOoO Oo oOoo OoOo..."
I wrote in melancholy tones The melodies that made the masses forget themselves in passing and suggestive though their minds became and attacked their brothers to mine own gain Still the heart did lament the turning of a beautiful gift unto death
