Knights vs Vikings

    The Knights:

    Naming:
    Sir "insert appropriate name here"
    Lady (if you can make Lady) "name"

    Start with healing and any of the other approved skills as second/third skills.

    Knights can only wear plate armor (Chain armor under review maybe 50% of force/Archers) with kite shield.

    Weapons: (shown in picture in main post)
    broad sword
    long sword
    halberd
    double axe
    spear
    war hammer
    mace
    bow

    All items must be made of iron and player crafted or npc bought.

    You may carry any number of bandages, no potions allowed.

    The Vikings:

    Naming:
    Norse sounding name like Olafson.

    Vikings can only wear ring armor with round bronze shield.

    PVP event details:

    All troops will show up at their respective guild houses, crafters will be on stand by to create your weapon/armor. 2 weapon types will be created per character and if you need archery, a bow + arrows will be provided with limited ammunition. Armor does not need to be exceptional so crafters don't worry, just make it and hand it out. :lol:

    Scenarios:
    There are a few scenarios we can run at different locations, some in mind are:
    Lord Blackthorns Castle - storm the castle
    Trinsic - barrier island landing or front gate assault
    Serpents Hold - Vikings arrive from fire dungeon and fight their way to the treasures of the Serps bank
    Nujelm - Vikings attack from the graveyard, work towards the palace.

    After all are geared up a location/town will be the arena for combat.. but we can't have combat without a COMMANDER!

    Commander:

    The commander will guide his troops into battle, you cannot leave the commander unless you wear a sash/cape color of an attack unit. The commander cannot leave his troops. The commander will be provided armor made of gold to easily identify him and provide a good increase in armor rating. The team loses if his commander has fallen, protect him at all cost!

    Second in Command:

    This person will assume command for the remainder of battle, unless he is already slain. He will be provided with shadow armor.

    Combat rules:
    WALKING ONLY! You will stand your ground, if you run, you will be deemed a coward and we will see you executed. Walk at all times during combat operations, this will keep units together and well protected.

    The Force:
    You may hire fighters from inns and taverns prior to your arrival, no paladins allowed.


    PVM challenge details:

    After the victors have been declared in a 2 out of 3 style combat (if we need to do that) we will move to a dungeon crawl. With everyone having low skills and no magic resist this will be an extreme challenge and I will laugh a lot! We may even take turns to see what team can take down some of the toughest monsters Sosaria has to offer.
