Armour Bug

    Platemail legs are not equipping over the chainmail legs i do recall this was possible you could place plate over the chainmail legs, anyone else here recall this?

    hmm... that sounds very very very odd; i can't remember AT ALL this happening on OSI at any point pre AOS

    I dont believe this was the case. The closest thing to me is that they would display over any shoes you were wearing under them.

    Apoc is actually right. You could equip plate legs over chain leg. If I recall correctly, though, you didn't get extra armour. There was also some glitchyness with female armours applying armour to more locations than they should have normally covered.

    You may have even been able to equip breastplates over chain tunics at some point. With the dex penalty I don't see any reason we shouldn't allow some benefit to stacking amour here. It also makes perfect sense on a historical basis as far as I know.

    :) no you wouldn't get any added ar, what would happen is it would cancel the chain and just use the plate stats dexx loss ar.

    Anyway, i confirm that during UO:R era it was possible to wear platemail legs on top of chainmail leggings, regarding if it provided the defence value i don't remember but i don't remember people using it.
