Large House entry - Breteyne Tower


Let's start at the first floor; visitors must be allowed to pass by the fierce guardian Gamayun and cool their heels at the reception holding pen.

The 1st floor is the utilitarian area - the stable containing the owner's prize miniature horse Lucky Charms, exercise paddock, crafting area, rest area, and beyond the arch a small treasure room.

So many BODs, so few resources. For fun, a little hatchet-throwing.

Next we view the 2nd floor owner's suite


It may look a bit cluttered, but everything needed to craft the finest threads is within reach.
I do toil, and definitely spin.

The master (and only) bedroom and ensuite bath. The owner's favorite Trammel are displayed on custom shelves.
Getting ready early for Thanksgiving.

The bathroom has a color-coordinated throne, relaxing tub, decadent treats within reach, and the obligatory aquarium housing the smallest big fish caught, five stones.


Special guests are allowed onto the third floor.
The private picture and sculpture gallery of the owner's distinguished ancestors, den, and kitchen are located here.

Complete with the skulls of mine enemies defeated to serve as a warning to those who would think to cheat at cards or chess.

Don't turn up your nose; only the finest exotic meat, wine, and sides are served from this kitchen.

When the weather is fine, friends and family take the air on the roof. The clear mountain stream creates a well-stocked rivulet, over which the owner installed a small fishing pier and decorative bridge. Relax on fine cushions on the lush lawn while taking in fruit, wine, and melodic harp strains.


However, the water to the east appears to be suffering from a miasma emanating from nearby; or is it vice versa?


We will have to explore the dwelling next door to determine where the corruption is originating.

Dear Sosarians!

I was able to complete 2 floors of my tower for the summer deco contest 2020.

So, like my old house, my style is Cozy and "npc" like.

There's the result!

Welcome to my Woodland Retreat! Nestled in a glade between Trinsic and Skara, with the mysterious hedge maze to the North.



The first floor is a space were I often share a cheeky ale or two with my companions after a tough day adventuring. Behind, the armoury - ensuring I am ready for whatever Sosaria has to through at me. Moving towards the stairs we pass the reading corner (currently researching the dreaded pirate tamers!) and a small experimental alchemy area.



The 2nd floor is the heart of the home - providing an income and keeping all my warrior companions equipped for the field!



The 3rd floor contains the library and study space - where I plot and plan my next solo escapade! And finally, the softly lit rear room to relax round the fire with a bedroom behind.



Blessed with the wonderful Sosarian climate, its al'fresco dining nightly! With my well stocked kitchen supplemented by bbq-ing whatever game was felled in the surrounding woods. On the eastern wing, a monument to my solo exploits, with the spoils guarded by my tame, ferocious (albeit small) Fluffy. On the western wing, a garden viewpoint looking off over the treetops towards the town of Skara.



A quiet reflective space to contemplate all the killing.....

Here is my entry for best decorated large house:
I want to start off by thanking my friends @Ragnar Lothbrok, @Shipwreck , and @Labeler for making this possible.

We'll start with the outside.


In the entrance we have a nice fireplace along with an indoor fountain. There is even a hanging plant by the fountain.



In the back room of the first floor, we have the smithy.



On the second floor we have a nice alchemy area along with a sick bed (and stairs to the patio that was posted earlier).



On the second floor, we also have a nice cozy library:

Welcome to my Tower, let me take you on a tour starting from the very top:
This is my little heaven in this giant of stone. I've built a small wood house and a small farm where I grow all my food.




We descend to the next floor where you can see my kitchen, some bread getting prepared for my "friends", my little indoor plants and my bedroom. Yeah, bedroom next to the kitchen, best decision ever.




Next floor is where most of my crafting takes place. We can find space for tailoring, alchemy, blacksmith, stonecrafting and cartography. Its also where I keep my records and accountancy books. All the input and output of materials has to be written for a proper administration.







Finally, we reach the first floor where we have the chest room, the carpentry (ever tried pulling logs upstairs?), the libraries and of course, a place for our beloved ones: The stable.





And this is all folks! Hopefully next time I'll be able to finish as I intended!
