The more likely scenario is this: greedy people with tons of plat (most likely super farmed from prepatch barracoon) are attempting to raise the price of plat. I say attempting because the only person buying is someone who appears to be brand new to this shard. Good job on screwing over new comers guys.. And if you don't think this is the case, look at Caleb holmans sale. Going nowhere fast. Tldr: stop being greedy, plat sells for 6k
Plat sells for whatever I want to sell it for and for whoever wants to buy it at. I didn't put a gun to anyone's head to buy this plat. On that note, selling 1000 plat at 10k each, otherwise go blow. P.S. Someone that drops 1.5M casually on plat isn't someone new to the server. And if they've amassed 1.5M in a week then it's not going to be hard for them to farm it all up again, is it?
I've sold/traded some of my plat at 7k and some at 6.5k since I posted. Also just don't buy my stuff, problem solved. I admit to being greedy.
Supply and demand? 48,213 platinum with only 2,813 in inactive bank accounts. Thats a whole lot of supply brah
Silly discussion. Don't buy at 7k if you think that's not a good price. I agree there is more plat now than there ever was. There's also more gold, so perhaps gold's value is even less. Perhaps it isn't. If you don't buy this plat at 7k, I guess we'll know the answer.
