I have never taken part, so my knowledge of these is limited. Based on your explanation, I can see both sides. For the hardcores that have been here a long time, this might be one of the best ways to use great gear and builds to their fullest to dominate the competition. It's nice to have some content that caters to vets, and this sounds like one of these niche things. I'd gear towards the question of how to organize a group that can stand a chance against this kind of team. Maybe new player events can be organized by guys like you, for some more light hearted fun PvP in a tournament style. This could start to build experience for those who might one day get some good gear and be able to hold their ground in the big leagues.
i went there two times... was sufficient to realize that i need to remake all my hotkeys and way of playing and the saddest thing, to see that i am very far away to get a appropriate outfit to make it. i am gming poisoning to see how less bad will gonna be.. the two times i saw the opponent working on group(probably voicing on discord) and me in a team where everyone simply was running randomly like dogs in a battlefield.
I have noticed the stacking of the teams on CTF lol. I've noticed some teams will have newish players only for everyone to flock to another team entirely leaving them all alone hah. I feel sorry for them and try to pick the weakest team to stick it to the conformists!
In ctf you have unlimited reagents/heal/cure pots so you can bring 1 of each and never run out *refresh pots too iirc. Save up some $ and buy an agapite or better runic. Agapite weapons are fairly inexpensive and will guarantee at least some threat potential, usually a few kills If you need a few I could do some at a slight discount to encourage more players in ctf! I know the tournaments in the event center work the same way in these regards. Player held tournaments are “regular” felucca rules. One great way to practice pvp stuff is in UOR test center. You can instantly gm skills and there’s regs/potions galore. Best way to play with different builds while not having to worry about burning money/time building characters/materials
alot of what that is is people in voice. Its very hard to beat people in voice if your not in voice. they can sync drops and communicate locatisons so much more effectively. We do technically have a UOR discord with all the different colored teams having their own voice channell... but ive never actually seen that in use. Its also a weird time on the server, normally there is about 3 or so pvp/pk groups going, but right now its pretty much only SoF. Anarchy and KP haven't been playing as much. IT is probably more healthy for the server to have multiple pvp/pk groups.
There was supposed to be a ‘randomized team’ implementation added quite a while ago, but it never made it. I think it would really be a great addition and bring the fun factor back to CTF. I’ve played with friends on here where we were on random teams on the 4-base CTF and it was a lot of fun smack talking my buddies in voice when I killed them. It’s really something that should be implemented if the event is to continue, but then again...who cares at this point.

The randomized teams was implemented you mean? I didn't know that. So they would basically sabotage the game for their buddies at that point or what? Not surprised lol.
I only read last sentence due to my time however I would like to see random team assignment now and then.
