Big D the Pitmaster has returned to Ocllo this year, yet he has encountered some troubles. His herd of BBQ meat animals has been dispersed throughout the Sossarian world. Without the meat, there can be no BBQ, and he seeks your assistance in gathering it for the 4th of July. Visit his booth to start your adventure. Roam the lands in search of his "BBQ Herd" animals. Do not bring the entire animal back; instead, harvest them for their raw BBQ ribs. Place them swiftly into the special quest tome he provides, as they quickly lose freshness once harvested and become unusable. After you have harvested and properly stored the required amount of raw BBQ ribs, you will be promptly rewarded for your efforts.
Tomorrow when the Spawn is turned on, you will be looking for these across the land, including T2A and Ocllo When you kill one, it will have You have 1 hour from the time you loot it to add to a quest book before it POOFS, they start decaying as soon as you pull them off the corpse, its FRESH Top Quality BBQ meat, BigD wants, not stale stuff or frozen.
I'm not sure if this is by design or a bug, but the last three BBQ animals I've slaughtered have not had any special meat on their corpse. (The corpses have been empty.)
