Hello fellow renaissancers, Considering the recent escalation in forum warfare and the increased burden on staff that comes along with it I propose a holiday peace treaty (which can be extended indefinitely). By posting here you will show your support and agree to help keep the forums and server civil, peaceful and enjoyable. I for one will refrain from posting any negative stuff about other players/guilds and will only post positive things. No matter what background, creed or religion you involve yourself with, we can all agree that we are here to enjoy ourselves and escape whatever rl curve balls we get thrown at us. I for one would like to chime in my support. And further would like to reign down my hatred and derision on all those that oppose. ...With kind words and civil discussions. We're all here for the fun of the game, lets all enjoy it! Everyone on this shard brings something to the game, that makes this world what it is. Well said sir. This is after all a game that we all love and a shard that we have all chosen to make our home. Doing unsavory things to one another in game is part of the game itself, but everyone needs to remember that it IS just a game. There is nothing to be lost that cannot be replaced and no in-game injury too grievous to recover from. No reason to be at each other's throats over it elsewhere. We may not all become friends, but we are all part of the greater and glorious whole that is UO:R. You have my support.
But I enjoy reading forum drama! What else will entertain me, as I sit behind 5 rows of table walls.. carefully crafting bods and only interacting with the Magincia Tailor.
I predict this thread will devolve into name-calling and trash talk. That said, it would be good to take things more in the spirit of a game and not ugly and personal. And it would be good to keep anything even approaching that in trash talk from hence forward.
