Hello all. Finally decided to get back to work on my tamer and to do so I placed a sandstone in the Compassion desert and blocked off the patio to lead scorpions to for working taming. You know what I mean. The wife and I have just about gone as far as scorpions and snakes will take us and I was going to drop the house tonight as it's outlived its usefulness. However, I was thinking that before doing so I would see if there are any other aspiring tamers out there that need to use it before I let the desert reclaim the land. If anyone is interested in getting co-owned to it for a few days to get their taming up to bull level (I got to almost 75 there) feel free to holler at me here or on IRC and I will get you set up over there.
I have 2 tamers that have contacted me so far and set up at the house. Anyone else that needs to use it is still free to, but I will be gone for the next few hours with Christmas family type stuff going on, but will be available later this evening to get anyone else that is interested set up over there. I will post here when I am back.
I'm sorry to disappoint you chumbucket but your recent ruling is completely inapplicable to my taming facility as it does require one to be attended since the spawn isn't going to lead itself to the house. Now I understand that your animal rights sensibilities may be offended as scorpions and snakes are indeed harmed in the process, however this is not the fault of the home's occupants. The tamers making use of the facility seek only to be friend these noble creatures. Unfortunately the racist denizens of the desert turn on them once they turn blue and having no tolerance for scorpions of color, kill them. Your crusade for justice and tolerance is commendable so I suggest you place an agent nearby to mercilessly punish those bigoted elementals. As you can clearly see, these tamers are there to spread friendship and are really allies...making a difference.
Your sophistry notwithstanding, you must buy a permit for the facility or for each character making use of it while AFK.
So you care a lot about these animals. You are saying people are harming the wildlife. Does making them buy permits change the effects? If you can prove that I might support your permits. Otherwise you are miserable.
