    The mining house near Wind? Only things it has going for it is private and mining. Id say a 6 out of 10.


    1 near bank
    2 near water
    3 mining
    4 farming spot
    5 private
    etc etc

    Any house with bank access from within the house region; you just can't beat banking inside a house !

    There is a fort near Vesper in a clearing that is so perfect for a castle that it can't even have a 7x7 located in any place around it. I think that's the coolest spot on the shard for that reason.

    There's a runebook in the Cove Fort library of my favorite 13 or so "notable" houses. But frankly, I'm jealous of the people that get more pleasure in their villa on a peninsula by the sea than I get from my castle or fort filled with Trammel.

    OK. I'm a little partial here, but I'll say Paws tower. It doesn't really have any functional perks like mining, or banking, but it is connected to many locations via communication stones.

    If UOR were to be hit by Mondain and all our things were wiped clean, Paws is where I would go to rebuild. :)

    Yew RoE! Prime banking, prime vendoring, moongate nearby. There's seven houses with bank access, if any of the seven ever sell, they'll be instant 10M+.

    Hidden Valley naturally! I love small houses and have roughly 14 of them scaterred over the world. Big houses depress me somehow.

    I've always thought that the people who were able to snag the small tower spot just outside of Skara Brae guard zone had the best spot of all. Every shard I've ever played that spot has been taken and probably makes a pretty awesome vendor location.

    In my opinion, the best spots are:

    1) Bank access (the 10 homes that can, 7 in Yew, 2 in Ocllo, and, amazingly, Bart's tower in Trinsic)
    2) Seclusion (Justice, Wind, Minoc Valley, Despise Valley, Hidden Valley)
    3) Mining cave access (ka-ching!)

    I've always had a soft spot for homes on Serpent's Hold and Ocllo as well.
