I've received amazing PMs from players expressing their amazement over the mystery gate bot. Ever since my gatebot has been patched out of service, I has something like this in mind. It's the first ever PAY TO GAPE BOT. lol LOL !!! PAY TO GATE of course ... you're all NASTY. I need beta testers ... The Gapebot is standing at OCCLO bank. So you just walk up to the but and best perform a detect-hidden or reveal. Might be some griefers attempting to steal your gate/gold. ^^^^ No longer necessary, you can now trade the gold !!! Next thing you do is drop 100gp near the Gatebot. NEW NEW NEW : You can also TRADE the Gatebot 100gp of gold !!! Wait for the prompt to choose a runebook. There's currently four keywords that will choose a runebook: xwodan xmes1 xmes2 xwittol If the gatebot has successfully received your command, he will confirm the runebook chosen. At this moment, you can choose a rune from the book using a syntax like this : y01 - first rune y02 - second rune ... y16 - last rune There are NO REFUNDS if the location is blocked or the gate fizzles. Heh well I just relocated to Occlo ... I originally picked Jhelom because it's not too busy and easily accessible via public moon gate. Gonna let it run over night in Occlo and see if anything happened. Probably gonna try a pay-by-trade version tomorrow
Give it a shot. If you can find any flaws, I'd love to fix them. Doing the best I can to prevent exploiting.
I'd like to say this is one of the most astoundingly stupendously amazing things that I love about UO:R!!!!!!! For the record, I think Wodan took the liberty of quoting my reaction, but I don't hold him against it because he's right! However, I'd like to set the record straight. My exact reaction was: It was only after you rez killed and rez gated me 100 times that I offered you a pint... j/k (you can't really rez gate people)
