    Hello all,
Now that I've established a handful of good trade relations with other blacksmiths in the lands, I'd like to start up a registry of those smiths knee deep in Bulk Order Deeds. Let's keep it simple and post with our forum name, what our IRC contact is (if applicable) and perhaps a general idea of inventory and goals. I'll make a format, feel free to use your own, but keep the information clear.
I am willing to trade just about anything for relatively equal value. This can vary quite a bit and I have no problem giving the 'better deal' to someone, if I can reasonably expect it to be in my favor somewhere down the line. :)
Many thanks to all the good tradesmen and women I've done business with so far.

BoD Collection: Everything from 10 piece normal iron shields through 20 piece exceptional valorite platemail (lol, no these aren't getting traded as I have no spares yet).
(I have over 2000 Blacksmith BoDs at present)
I am mostly interested in high end runic hammers, however, I am also working on Phoenix pieces and other top tier rewards.

PM me for any sets you may be trying to complete and I will be happy to engage in a trade conversation if I have the time.

Count me in. I don't have nearly the collection but I am looking to fill one or two LBODs at a time and help others fill theirs. I am not going to juggle filling a dozen different LBODs. Just because I have a single small BOD doesn't mean I am working on that large and expect to only trade duplicates. If you need something, ask and I'll see what I can do to help.

    IRC: Miller-
BoD Collection: About 400 BODs I am guessing at work here. I keep any colored ringmail+ bods in a separate book. I've only recently started working on a 20x Golden Plate LBOD. I just need the gloves and tunic. I'm sure I only need 1 or 2 other pieces of mid-level hammer type BODs but I haven't started filling them all.

I've done a few 1:1 swaps with Blaise and would welcome connections with others - feel free to include me in your network of people to check with when trying to finish that pesky LBOD. If you only trade doubles and want 3:1 trades for comparable BODs, please don't waste your time contacting me -- its not that important to me to fill a BOD.

Shoot me a PM on forums or in IRC if yer looking for something and I'll see what I can do to help.

Agree, Miller- is a good trader. Just because I value agapite hammers higher than phoenix pieces does not mean they are actually different values. They are, along with standing armor, the hardest items to obtain through the system. Yes, Val 20x plate is the top, but anything under that, aga/ver hammer, standing armor, phoenix bit...all the same 'level' of item, in my opinion.

If that's not your understanding, that's fine, just don't expect to hustle someone because your valuation is based on your preference.

    I dabble.

I tend to see the former as worth more than the latter, which is great as we have the potential for some easy deals. Let me know what you have in standing armor, and what you need in phoenix, and I'm sure we can get a bunch done.

Go auction a piece of Phoenix armor or a standing armor and we'll see about that.

PS: I'm not likely to trade with you at all aside from direct 1:1s from exactly equal sets. I don't have the patience for your math and assumptions.

My post had no assumptions. And no math either (a rare event, but true)!

You said you see phoenix and standing armor as the same. I said let's trade! Should be easy to find some phoenix pieces you need, and some standing armor pieces I need.

About me: Just got into the smithing BOD game about a month ago. After making three GM smiths it didn't take me very long to realize that this particular BOD game is not for me. The laid back easier to fill tailoring BOD game is more my speed. It's all good. I still collect 6-9 smith BODs per day on my rounds (6 or 9 depending on the day of the week). I have done tailor BOD trades with a handful of people here who hopefully could vouch for me. That would include but is not limited to: Dalavar, Les, Stranger, Faber, eh... I can't remember who else.

BOD Collection: I currently have a working arrangement with a BOD player selling them all of my small irons and high end smalls. That said, I have a growing collection of colored small BODs (at this moment 81 in my book titled Small Color) and larges of all sorts. I would be willing to sell or trade.

BOD Goals: Even though the high end chase in smithing BODs is not for me, I wouldn't mind collecting a few medium level deco type stuff (brazier, hanging shield or hanging armor). I'm still trying to get a handle on what equals what here, but if I were to trade it would probably be looking for stuff to fill those out.

Oh, my goals: I think I ultimately want to do one of each set, and a full set of phoenix armor. Other than that, I don't particularly have any plans. Will probably move on to some other ridiculous in-game quest after that.

    I'm in. IRC Corruption.

Goals are standing armor and phoenix armor, probably moreso than anything -- but I enjoy the crafter chase in general. Current collection is probably easier to discuss on a per-item basis, but suffice to say I have a decent amount of stuff across the entire range of colors.

For the record, I use www.uobod.de for organization and occasional trade purposes. It required manually entering everything initially (and I only entered in color stuff that was of value -- anything thats a flip doesn't get entered), but its great for seeing a quick overview of what you have in your collection or for trade working. Dalavar and I have done a sizable trade after I let him thumb through what I had in the past; I highly recommend it if you have the patience for the hour or 2 of entering the data initially. We could even trade our bod collection reports directly for easier trade facilitation.

Unfortunately, I have not found any way to import this information in an automated way, as UOAssist allowed with the application on OSI servers.

Hanging armor and braziers are a LITTLE harder to come by, but not uncommon by any means. Hanging Shields though, you should just keep an eye out for these on your own and you'll eventually get a nice collection of them. Any of the junk bods (Shields, helmets other than plate helm, female armor) in x20/exc/Verite, or x10-x15/exc/Valorite type will return a hanging shield deed. I think I have 2 or 3 uncompleted in my color flip book at the moment.
