Hi Everyone, I've been trying to figure out what to do with my one toon lately. I liked the idea of having a warrior build with healing/magery/med, but I realized that it's pretty limiting in terms of what I can fight. I'm trying to decide if I should add provo or peace. I considered doing an ossytank - style build too, but I have enough tamers. I actually tried running around with hirelings, but they die way too easily. Really, I'm looking for ideas. What would you drop / add ? What stats would you have? LJ is a must, and I just want a good PVM build. Str: 90 Dex: 90 Int: 45 Current Skills: Anatomy - 100 Magery - 100 Tactics - 100 Swords - 100 Lumberjacking - 100 Healing - 100 MagicResist - 100 Meditation - 100 Musicianship - 100
Drop Resist, Healing and Med, then add Peacemaking. Use 100 Magery or combo of Magery/Med like 70 Magery/30 Med. With Peacemaking you will only take damage occasionally, so you really don’t need 100 Healing or Med. GH pots and wands can fill in the gaps if you’re low on mana. 90 Str 90 Dex 45 Int
Yeah, I was kinda leaning toward that. I was stuck on whether to drop healing and/or do provo instead.
Provo is tough to pull off with this build. If you want Provo, I would drop LJ and pick up 100 Healing or 100 Med.
You could do: Swords Tactics Anatomy Lumberjack Healing Music Provo Good character, good damage output, crowd control, ability to heal. Downside is lack of magery, so you will do some jogging.
I do this, and squeeze in 20 magery by dropping healing and tactics to 90. Always use tactics modifying axes, and can use reflect and recall scrolls but expect to fizzle (i.e. going to have to try and outrun or stand and fight pks). I have a huge amount of fun with this character as can take on pretty much anything (well, if there's a couple of them about), but you are a bit of a glass cannon - keeps you on your toes. Perfect for ironman-ing AMIBs, or solo hunting or being part of a group. Oh, and I run with 95 95 35 stats.
Basic LJ build with provo works great for Ironman runs. Wouldnt recommend using it for overworld farming realy, since the build has too many flaws, but for instances it is great. Just be aware that NPC Mages will hit you like trucks, and work around that. Yes, you will die to mages while figuring out how individual scrolls work, but ultimately its not a big deal if youre properly prepared for it. Its pretty much the build NCCML recommended earlier. Swords, Lumber,Tactics, Anat, Heal, Music, Provo Make sure to use slayer instruments.
Swords, Lumber, Tactics, Anatomy, Healing, Camping, 30 magery, 70 resist. Be sure you lock everything but keep camping pointed up for the title GM explorer!
swords LJ tactics anatomy healing music discordance/peacemaking use other toons for gating around, or drop tactics & healing for 20-30 magery peacemaking is more useful than discordance most of the time
join factions, get a faction warhorse... or 8! Swords Lumber Tactics Anat Heal Animal Lore Vet Faction Warhorse tamer / LJ - They have high HP - They use a single slot - They require 0 taming - Theyre horses! - They dont realy have skillcaps on tactics so it would be possible to train it up to infinite, ofc until they die once thank me later

I actually already have a warhorse. My issue with this build is that none of my other toons are in factions, so I'm out of luck for rezs when I die.
