Installed the UOR updates in my UoFolder, and basically before the updates i got in for a few minutes and it would crash, now I login into the character and instantaneously errors the client. Any idea would be helpful thanks!
Followed the trouble shooting.... changing the compatibility to XP with razor allowed me to get back into the game but still crashed.... Followed everything set on the trouble shooting client errors
Hey As you called UOR for updates. I read it as you installed UOR in a folder with another installation of UO, that is not a good idea. Try installing UOR in a seperate folder in the root of the drive, run client.exe and razor in compatibility moxe xp sp 3 and as admin. Cosmo
Duhh okay lol thanks, any easyway to undo the install easily not a big deal id not only takes a few to reinstall
Hey Not sure you can uninstall like that, you have mixed 2 installations, probably replaced files. I would uninstall both, and start over. Make sure to backup your razor macros and profiles before you do that. Edit: Do not forget to backup your desktop folder in The UO folder. Cosmo
That happened to me once. The best way, as mentioned is to create a new directory and install everything in there. Then adapt your razor settings to the new location, and make sure to use our new IP (199.59.161.210 Port: 2593) should work without crashes.
It's a flat install, so you can literally just delete the folder it's in, to remove it. You can cut/copy/paste that whole directory and make multiple "installations" the same way. I've done it before to have tree-hack client and normal, at my disposal. The Razor welcome screen lets you browse to alternative installations.
