I've done maybe two champ spawns in my UO career. Just never really got into them. Besides the point... Has anyone completed a champ spawn / boss without the use of any tamers at all using an average size group? .
It's a bit tougher but it is doable. You would have to pull slowly from the outside of the spawn instead of charging in a bit. Bards would help as well to control the field a bit, it would just be a bit slower but it should be doable.
Thanks, I'm probably looking for the needle in the haystack here but, I'm really looking for first hand experience. Champ Spawn, beginning to BOSS... NO tamers. Anyone?
