I played UO back in the Renaissance to Age of Shadows time frame on the Atlantic shard. I went back to check everything out and found out that you can actually buy skills with real money. I could basically just pay to make my character leveled up without doing anything. Does Renaissance History Perfected allow that or do you have to grind and work for your skills? Has there been any major changes that I need to be aware of before I jump back in? Some of these other shards had some weird currency and new skill systems that I didn't understand. Thanks for any information you can give me. I'm sure I totally missed a basic rules thread or something and I apologize if these type of questions have been answered a million times.
Thanks for information. The fact that you have to grind for skills/loot/gold and I see you have an active community is all I need to know. I'll have to read up and experiment with using Razor but other than that I should be good to go. I'll learn more as I go along. Thanks for quick replies. Lord Don' is making a comeback.
Well met Don'! The best way to connect with the community in real time is with IRC, a text based chat program. You can use the link on the UOR main page to access it, or get mIRC. You can join different channels on IRC and talk with a litany of UOR players, but we are also all in the UOR main chat room.
